“Overall, it was a bed to sleep on, but we were unimpressed with the level of cleanliness we witnessed. Our rooms bathroom had someone's hair in the tub, on the towel rack, stains on the furniture and walls. All things that can easily be cleaned if extra effort was put in and a thorough cleaning was done. The building is in definite need of upkeep and repairs. It is very run down looking. The front desk staff wasn't rude or anything like that, but they weren't very friendly or welcoming either....

“Spacious room, newly renovated, very clean. Bed was comfortable with lots of pillows, big TV, fridge, coffee maker and microwave in the room. It's an older hotel that still has the stale cigarette smoke to it, mostly in the lobby, not so bad in the room. Note that if you are a light sleeper, the hotel is right next to the train tracks and the trains come by several times during the night! Breakfast is very limited. I was there at 8am and there was no coffee made. I just grabbed some milk and...

“While we had a nice stay and breakfast was fine we were a little disappointed the room hadn't been restocked prior to the next guests coming. It was clean, but no hand soap and there was no toilet paper. The front desk quickly remedied the situation.”

“Walls are paper thin, could hear people talking after quite time, as well as a toddler crying though most of the 3 nights we were there. To top it off at 7:15 am they started yard maintenance on a Monday morning. So much for a Quite Bay place. Got the bill and it was 144 dollars a night plus 25 dollars for extra guest per night. It was only the 2 of us. Will not be returning.”

“My husband and I booked the cottage in early spring 2025 for our wedding ceremony and reception in May 2026. We were uncertain whether the dock would be installed for the ceremony, but Kim worked with us to make sure we had the ceremony of our dreams! The cottage was beautiful and blew our guests away. “Good place to stay for a night or so”

“Check in was easy. The property is very clean . Directions marked on the trees not great. There should be more info given on where the parking is and rough terrain to get to the cabin. The ad also showed sand beach front and there was no sand at all. Pictures are very disappointing .”

“My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay. We were pleasantly surprised with the 1 bedroom cottage (1 Bluejay). It was perfect! The cottage was clean, it had everything we needed. The king bed was comfy and the deck overlooking the water was relaxing and serene. We’ll be back!”
